Franchise of the Month: A High-Ticket Product in a booming niche – a product in demand for both Home and LARGE commercial accounts.
What if you could enter a first-to-market franchise category with NO competition on a National scale?
This month’s featured franchise operates in a highly specialized segment of the outdoor home and commercial space industry—one benefiting from changing consumer preferences, demand for lower-maintenance outdoor spaces, and water-conservation initiatives.
And unlike many home-service businesses, the average residential project is high-ticket—approximately $10,000–$12,000, with commercial projects generally much larger.
Why this one caught my attention
The model combines several characteristics I like to see in an emerging franchise:
- High-ticket projects + recurring revenue. In addition to installations, owners can build ongoing revenue through services such as quarterly cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing.
- Low overhead. It’s home-based, with no traditional retail location required, and the model is designed to operate without carrying significant equipment or inventory.
- Both B2C and B2B revenue opportunities. Residential customers are only part of the equation. Owners can also develop relationships with property managers, real estate professionals, and other commercial accounts.
- Multiple ownership models. Owner-operator and GM models are possible, with a special interest in YOUNGER first time business owners!
- A fragmented category. Rather than entering a space dominated by several household-name national competitors, this franchise is building a national brand in what has historically been a much more localized small business category.
- Very experienced franchisors backed by investors with over 130 years of combined Franchise experience across 15 different brands.
- Very fast to ramp – their disclosure materials state an average of 74 and a half days from signing of contract to first job BOOKED and deposit in your business account
The Owner’s Role:
The owner’s role is primarily sales, relationship building, and team leader, particularly during the ramp-up period. Installation can be performed using subcontracted crews rather than building an employee base from day one.
Corporate support includes marketing, creative, operations and installation expertise, along with multiple approved vendors designed to provide supply-chain redundancy and purchasing advantages from national scale. And all of those savings are passed directly to the franchisees.
And the royalty structure rewards growth: royalties are listed at 4%–6%, with revenue-based royalty breaks.
Who could be a good fit?
This isn’t definitely NOT a business for someone who wants to sit behind a desk from day one. They are looking for a “team captain” personality—someone comfortable getting into the community, networking, developing referral relationships, and driving sales. Interestingly, they offer discounts to veterans, NCAA Athletes (for obvious reasons once you know what the product is), and, unusually, people under 30
The most important skills they are looking for are sales, leadership, relationship building, and the ability to execute a proven system.
High-ticket sales. Low overhead. Recurring revenue potential. B2B + B2C. And an opportunity to help build a national brand in a highly fragmented niche.
